Jordan don't have an immigration policy and embrace refugees who have to flee from extreme danger. This not only allows people to be safe, but enriches the Jordanian culture and boosts their economy, just to name a few advantages. We're worried about 40,000 people. These people risk their lives, traveling huge distances over water on rickety vessels and leave everything they've know behind, for a chance to make it to this country and we criminalise them. For literally escaping immanent death.
